January 04, 2010 - 03:01 AM George Peabody - george.peabody@gmail.com Nancy and I spent just three nights at Gecko Creek, just as spring turned into summer, and we will never forget them. What's amazing is that we can both conjure the magic of that place even though we are months away and 10,000 miles distant (I spent much of the last two days shoveling snow). If you ever want to hear the sound of the land, to experience the fullness of life within the silence, go to Gecko Creek and stay for as long as you can. You'll be delighted by the people and by Hoka. Just don't scratch his head for too long! Thanks to everyone at Gecko Creek. Linton, you've assembled magic. IP : 71.184.114.143 |
